FUZZY FLURRY-POM POM RUG USING REMNANTS YARN

I just love the feel of soft, fluffy  from a POM POM RUG under my feet.

I usually spend about one hour doing a craft but this one may take longer than an hour.  My suggestions is to do it piecemeal.  While watching TV you can make the pom pom and another day  lay out the pom and then place them.

  • Yarn

  • Non slip rug mat

  • Empty paper towel roll

Directions

  1. Cut paper towel in half and set two pieces next to each other.

  2. Wrap yarn about 100 times around the two pieces of paper towel.

  3. Cut the end of the yarn off and gently slide off the roll (very slowly or it will unravel

  4. Cut another piece about 12inches to wrap around the ball yarn.

  5. Tie a secure knot around the ball yarn and gently pluff.

Something created from the heart, my inner creative self, with love , sentimental and most of all my very own two hands.

This year I found the perfect gift. This inexpensive cookie jar from Target.   Target is my go to store for crafts, home décor. I am never disappointed to go there.  Plus I get an additional 5% red card.http://www.target.com/p/anchor-heritage-glass-jar-1-gallon/-/A-15295209
I brought this glass jar over the summer just to store macaroons.
My husband recently had knee surgery  and was not as mobile. This was a great way to store them on the counter and stay fresh.
